I ilke this game. I'd like to think of it as Papers Please, but on a different scenario. Overall, a good game. The mismatched ages and bios made the game hilarious and more fun to play. Also you can check out my playthrough if you want :D
You are welcome! Had fun, there was enough variety to keep me going for a fair bit. More would have been better, but for a simple ltitle game it did it's job nicely!
In the zip folder you downloaded, you should have a file named The Aftermath.exe, perform the double click ritual and the 64 deities of Windowsia shall manifest for your game to magically open.
I downloaded the game, I opened the downloaded file, I take the game out, and when I open the game it opens my desktop file. Is there a different way to open the game, cause it needs to be more simple than this. How do you open the game?
I don't see what the problem is, this is an issue I've never encountered thus I'd be happy to have a recording/video of what actually happens, thanks a lot :)
I played this on my channel, and I enjoyed it! It's a neat little concept that you can constantly play. I also love all the wacky Bios you can get from time to time.
Neat lil' game you have here! :) Though I wanna report a bug, which happened thanks to my clumsiness, hehe. I never played Papers, Please so not knowing what to expect, I lifted the stamp without putting the paper on the desk first. It made a small line at the edge of the paper and after I put the paper on the table and tried it again, the stamp pushed it away, doing nothing else. I had to restart since the drawer didn't open. Oh, and here's a suggestion: I think you should write every 'detail' segment in past tense, since all these people are already dead.
Thanks! If a small line appeared on the sheet it means it was labelled as 'stamped' so it is weird that the drawer didn't open, I'll take a look into it. English is not my native language and I was in serious need of sleep at the time of the Jam during which I made the game so I apologise for any grammar inconvenience. It will only be updated in a possible future update.

2. RIGHT click computer
3. Click "Properties"
4. Check the "System Type"
If 32-bit, proceed here
5. Download WinRAR x86 (32-bit) at this webpage; http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
6. Download the zip file in "The Aftermath" page.
7. Make a New folder called "The Aftermath"

That something else it opens up should be the game itself.

GameMaker games are often detected as a virus but it's harmless, you should be able to tell your antivirus to ignore the threat or something.

I need help, When I start the game up and it's at the start screen I left click and it crashes the game.
If you get an error message, please screenshot or copy/paste it to me, otherwise I won't be able to help.

When on the "You are in ..." screen, pressing H continuously for 3 seconds should work. I don't know how to better help you on this one, sorry.
